Should be a plugged port right below the carb on the intake plenum for that.

Yup. Soak it with PB Blaster or your favorite penetrant for a day beforehand. Get a 1/4" NPT barb for the hose to connect to.

That's the port for the pcv.
You want the one on the outside below the carb.

found it guys. bet this is gonna be a bugger to get out ! also looks like a 90 or 45 degree barb fitting will be needed. are the booster and m/c different for 71 & up trucks compared to 1970 drum brake trucks ?

Thanks for asking this question, I just received the complete kit for Power front Disc for my 70 C10 250 I6.

Now, I need to get out the rust penetrant and soak that up.
I have already soaked the front end with penetrant, which hopefully makes it easier to remove most hardware.

Most of those plugs have been in there since the beginning of time, so usually besides some strong liquid wrench you'll need some localized heat.
A little propane torch should work.
Don't get lazy and think you can tee into the pcv line. The booster needs it's own vac source.
If you need a factory looking fitting to hook your vac line to, look here.

Mine wasn't hard to get out. Sprayed PB on it for a few days and it threaded right out. Used a straight barb...a 90 might've worked too but I didn't feel it was necessary.

Also, if you want the correct air cleaner for power brakes this is what you're looking for.

Re: Where to get vacume off 250 i-6

well I looked at my 70 and the plug for vac isn't even corroded plus I looked thru my 250 engines and found the original vac line fitting, lucky me I recon. but while looking at the engine in my truck there definatly isn't room for a brake booster with the air filter mounted on top of the carb so now I,ve got to hunt down a p/b air filter. my engine has a Rochester mono jet carb.
