WIW - 1971 C10 Longbed

Howdy all,

Thinking about selling my truck and the market is weird these days, I honestly have no idea what this girl is worth. Here are the details:

1971 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Longbed
Engine - Original 350 Rebuilt 2,000 miles ago
Transmission - Original 350 rebuilt ~1,000 miles ago (April 2007)
Factory A/C truck, but compressor is out of the truck. Needs new vents and hoses, still have compressor.
5 lug, disc front/drum rear.

Parts replaced in last year:
Master cylinder
wheel cylinders
valve covers
intake manifold
headers
exhaust and mufflers
carburetor (Edelbrock 1406, still has Holley in the pictures)
seat
Brand new tires, less than 200 miles on them, also brand new spare
hood to cowl seal
kick panel vent seals

Truck runs and stops great. Needs paint at some point.

Here are the pics -

What do you think?

Thanks!

I think mine would be in the same ballpark as yours and I figure it's worth $5500 - $6000. Main difference is mine has a BB & TH400, good or bad.... and it's a shortbed.

Re: WIW - 1971 C10 Longbed

This one cost me $2200 in bone stock survivor condition, very driveable with minimal rust and some easily workable dents.
In the same day, i have been told by some i got a steal, and others say i got ripped off-- so who knows -- good luck with it

(btw-- i would've gone up to $2800 for this one maybe , but no more--- i;m also kinda cheap sometimes though)

The primer kills it for me. I will never buy anything in primer.

In the midwest, you might get a bit more for a Texas truck, where as out there, it may be more common.
