Help! Bolt in exhaust pass through?

I've seen these here on several member's trucks. They bolt into the crossmember and allow the exhaust to pass through. Can somebody tell me the company that make these? Thanks in advance.

Unless you have 1000 HP you don’t need them

I'm not sure of your logic here. Can you explain further?

Re: Help! Bolt in exhaust pass through?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about frame twist without bolting or welding in tube support after cutting cross member . I just cut 4" holes and welded in tube support total cost was $20.00 for the tube . A lot of these old trucks have "chevy twist" in the frame with stock engines ,So throwing a 1000 at a stock frame holes or not will probably have the frame looking like a pretzel .

Re: Help! Bolt in exhaust pass through?

There is a member here, can’t recall his handle, that cut holes in his crossmember and has been running it that way for several years without reinforcement and he has a healthy big block IIRC. I cut 3” holes in mine instead of 4” and don’t plan on reinforcing it.

Re: Help! Bolt in exhaust pass through?

All I did was hole sawed two 3" holes in the cross member with out welding any thing. I use 3" exhaust which was a very tight fit and the holes act as the hangers. I'm throwing at least 600 hp through the pipes and my frame still looks good. The paint isn't even burning off.

I think that looks way more solid than a bolt-in piece. It looks like the crossmember was made that way.
