I wish I could find one with that back window... that is crazy! I love it! Mine fell in my lap a week after I started looking for one. Funny how those things work... now I am looking for the K5 bucket seats and center console... I wish those would fall in my lap the same way! HAHA

Found this one, not sure if the older trucks have different inside bed dimensions.

It looks like an owl or something... $350 seems a lil steep for that.

Re: Truck Caps, Camper Shells, Toppers... call them what you will, lets see them

here is my old 8ft pickup trailer thats not road worthy anymore . so i turned it in to a firewood storage trailer so in the off season i park it out behind my shop .

to keep the wood dry and bake it dry in the summer like a hot box i used this old hightop cap with side slider windows and front slider . so if i need to let it breath i can open them .

this combo works super nice for parking right next to the shop door to get fire wood in the cold season .

but its my truck cap pics of the only one i own .

Funny that you posted a trailer... I have been thinking about building a similar trailer except lowered with matching paint and rims to match my truck... then put my shell on it... I think that would be so sick!!! Hard to find a rust free bed here he Hawaii though.

Re: Truck Caps, Camper Shells, Toppers... call them what you will, lets see them

they trail so nice and smooth behind you i have 2 of them and building a 3rd for a friend out of his spare parts .

blue one did match the old truck perfectly . . .

and cut the frame long in the front right before the firewall area kickup . gives nice long trailer and tool box storage up front for full un wasted box space . the white and red will be getting a storage surface in front of the tool box also this summer. ignore the HUGE i-beam sitting on the tongue . thats my snow plow ballast weight .

done with the thread derail back to the caps . last pic in use stuffed

That would be a score if you could get the whole truck! One shell is enough for me... I already struggle to make room for it if I take it off.

I couldn't get the whole truck, I just started a business so all my extra funds are tied up in it. He was going to scrap the shell so I was able to save it the other day. Every time I try an post a picture I get a security token error now though.

Here is the shell that came with my truck. I took it off and had it stored but a storm tore it up. I would love to find another one.

I know! They came off some Oldsmobile. I’m not sure what though. looking back I kinda wish I kept them. Also they where soft. Like some kind of rubber not solid metal.

that canopy is perfect!
matches the era of the truck, not too '70's, but not to modern looking. i would gladly pay $1200 for that....shipping would prob kill it though
looks better than the cab-hi fiberglass i got on my '85

A cap from Dodge and Ford will fit also. BUT any thing from 88 up none of them interchange. That comes from a camper shell builder.
