Good progress and yes, all the little stuff parts runs really take time. The Camaro manifolds do fit nicely.

They are a great ergonomical, economical AND performance choice when doing most LS swaps!

Re: Bagged 1968 Suburban

Well I had a hard time deciding what to do with the tank. The ECE tank looks great but it was 8 weeks away and $1800 Canadian. I checked my life insurance policy and decided to modify the original tank to accept the 2003 fuel pump module. I ended up using the stock float and gauge sender. Not pretty but it works. I planned on using the module from the parts truck but decided on a new delco unit.

I also blasted the manifolds and painted them with VHT flame.proof paint. I have had very good results with it.

Looks beautiful inside and out Mario! Loved the sound of it when you took off today. Hopefully someday mine will be half as nice as yours.

I dont have any measurements. It was fairly easy to make. I took a piece or hard card board and trimmed to fit. Only took a couple of hours. I was concerned at first about how vertical the pedal was but it feels good in the suburban lots of leg room. I drive with just my right foot so reaction time to braking is better. My generation was taught not to drive with a foot on the gas and the other over the brake

Thanks. I really need to update the build. I have all the pitcures but its such a pain to upload them from my cell. The LS swap was completed in july amd we had a great time hauling the camper to PA for the truck nationals. Tranny tempature was a concern briefly hitting 230 climbing the mountuans leveled out to 190 during the day and droped to 160 at night.. I think my clutch fan is not working. I plan on installing a tranny cooler with fan setup. I have a massive oil cooler for the transmission currently but I dpnt want to chance the clutch fan not fixing the transmission temperature issue

Re: Bagged 1968 Suburban

Been a little while. Suburban got some ugrades last year switch shocks to Ride tech HQ Fox shocks. Amazing the diffirence a quality shock makes even compared to the KYBs I had on it.

Just got the new RTX gauges with a custom 0 160 km layout done. MCB parts worked with me.to get a layout that matched the original look.

I also got 5 air pressure senders so I can watch the air pressure. Even though I have accuair we drive alot of rough uneven surfaces. Some times the burb suspension chatters funny. I need to see whats up with the pressure. I think one bag is really low and the other lifts the truck causing a crossload spring rate.
