Best place for weatherstrip

Picked up 72 Blazer that has no weatherstrip in the doors or window area of the hardtop. The strip at the front of the top appears good as well as the bedside seals. The LMC catalog appears to be from 1972 compared to other suppliers and I've seen quite a bit of product on Ebay. Any preferences?

GMCPAULS. He's a vendor on here and the LMC rubber is just not up to par with what Pauls sells.

Do not buy the door seals yet. We are in the final stages of producing a press on style that will be easy to install and function well. GMC Pauls will no doubt stock them once they are available.

Follow any of our social media for updates.

If we approve them after testing, it will be about 3 months. If I was you I'd wait.

Re: Best place for weatherstrip

I was in bad need of some new door weatherstrip.....so since my top is already off.......
for the time being I just bought a set of the push on truck style and modified to fit my Blazer....they are fantastic....
you can bet I will be all in for a set of Blazer specific ones as soon as they become available....

Re: Best place for weatherstrip

I’m interested in these as well. My only concern is I bought a set for my 72 C10 and granted the old seals were warn it was a pain to close the doors with the new push on set. Had to slam the crap out of the doors to get them to shut. Hopefully these will be a different story.

Sweet. Was hoping the press on type would soon be available for Blazers.

I can't wait. Will be watching.

Re: Best place for weatherstrip

Initial testing appears to be good. I would like to test fit these myself though so if there's anyone within 1-200 miles of Tulsa, Let me know!

Those are the pickup truck push on seals. The Blazer ones are quite different because of the shell.

I will update this thread with progress and when they will eventually be in stock.
