I just don't see $150K for that truck. What kind of idiot has that much disposable cash for this?

Or, for that kind of money, you could build a really nice Blazer and have enough money left over to park a C8 Corvette next to it.

All that money and build time and the best they could do for a steering wheel was one out of an early 90's Chevy OBS?

Yep, I thought the same thing about the steering wheel.

Could have done far better with $15.00 off eBay.

They said the total build was over $300,000.00

Out of pay-grade.

I'm with you....supposedly……

Also, I don't care for it at all either. I would really like to know the real story behind this.

For $300k I could put together a pretty nice stable of cars.

I don’t see where the 300k is either. That custom camaro they built maybe since it has so much custom body work done. To me this is a nice restore with very little changes.

Stay Healthy,
Wait, so the cost of doing the build was 300k?? Am I reading that right.

With all that work they ended up using a sbc crate motor out of a catalog and they kept the rear drums.. I'm sure it's a great motor I would just think for that cost of a build you woild see like a LT5 or custom LS stuffed in there.

Re: Ringbrothers 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

I have an LS3 with a 4l80e. Fully rebuilt 205 case with new adapter. Holley dominator kit for the EFI. Wegner drive system. I believe I have about 15k into the drivetrain. 300k is adding in their shop labor for sure. They do great work so I’m sure it’s 100s an hour for shop labor.
