Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Here’s my ’70. I took a bunch of photos with a friends crappy camera. Most are toast but a few made the cut. I will hopefully be getting a digital camera this weekend, so better pics are underway…….The sock is wrapped around the swing out’s top bracket to keep it from poking a hole in the car cover….redneck style…..

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Hotrodhomi,

It is an all original v-8 model, so I will be fixing it up bone stock, except for the motor/tranny. It came with a 307/3 on the tree, but will be converted to a 350/350 combo. I want to go with overdrive, but I decided for the time being not to. The custom look is fine, but I prefer stock vehicles. And I have yet to see an all original '70 2 wheeler, let alone one with a dealer installed swing out rear tire carrier and black top. It will be great to see it when it is done.........

Thumbs up Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

awesome, like i already posted customizing should be left to crappy trucks like s-10's or nissans. i don't think an original stock blazer can be improved.

nice truck slimjim, good luck with your restoration.

This is a pic that the previous owner sent me. It should have a few mods soon, and some better pictures.

Add me to the club! I have been wanting a 2WD Blazer for LONG time, and this '70 just fell into my lap! And Larry, I hate to say it but I'm probably gonna copy your Blazer except the wheels. That is thing is crazy-sharp!!
