Okay, one more brake booster question.
I lied, I have a few,
The hose was hooked up to the Intake, can it be redirected to somewhere else? The Carb? How can you tell other than your brakes not working that the booster is bad? My brakes did work. What tips can you give me on changing it myself? It seems pretty easy. If the pedal was real hard to press down, it is dead.
The booster hose can go to the carb, if you have a large port, and it is below the throttle blades. As for tips, do not rush. And do not open the master cylindewr's hydralics...it is not neede. However, be sure to support it the wqhle time you are working. Gently pull it away from the booster, and hang it with a rope or something. (You can tie i to the hood, that's how I did it...with a bunjie cord too) ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. I am in the middle of mine as I type this, The clip that attaches the pin holding pedal rod is a pain. So is the pin. A punch and hammer will be needed...WD-40 too.
