I have one I am looking for someone to redo, any help is appreciated

You may want to consider Randy500. He has refurbished a number of them and they like great. Shipping is not cheap, and has to be done right.
I started by looking for a GMC emblem. That is how I found him on the forum.
I was going to refurbish my own.

He is doing them correctly including using very light media blasting using walnut shells, and using SEM paint for the plastic. But he will need pics to assess your console before he can give you a cost.

He and I talked this morning. We had an initial discussion on the possibility,, proper packaging, shipping, and a rough cost. Now I will remove my console so I can send him good pics for him to assess my console. Then he and I will discuss again. There is a very good chance he will do my console. FYI, my console has no damage, cracks.

Awesome mine has no cracks or holes, a guy redid it and the paint is peeling off it. Thanks

He probably did not media blast with walnut shells, and/or he did not use SEM paint for plastics. I have done quite a bit of metal painting and a little plastic. Plastic painting is much more difficult.
