Attaching hubcaps on delmo specials

I'm having trouble getting my caps to fit on the del specials I just got. The groove in the rim is 10-5/8 the caps are 10-3/4 and I don't know how it's gonna work ,if there really just made to fit 60-66 caps or what bc I think those are 10-1/2 any help would be appreciated

Re: Caps not fitting on delmo's

I've talked to del about it he said to bend the clips around and try washers behind the clips. I'm actually trying to find out some info out on caps r there different sized 73-87 Style besides 3/4 ton

Re: Caps not fitting on delmo's

What do the clips for those wheels look like? It looks like they would be different than the clips used on other wheels. I have seen those caps on Delmo wheels on a few different trucks, and it appears that those caps don't actually sit in that groove on those either. They must have modified the clips somehow like Del suggested.

Re: Caps not fitting on delmo's

Thx that is helpful. That's kinda what I thought but I can never see the wheel pics clearly in dels ig pics. He did say the caps sat on top on brownstone. I think these wheels are really meant for 60-66 caps witch measure 10-1/2
