Single depends on color, a solid color yes and metallic color NO.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better SS then PPG's DCC. There is a difference in DCC and OMNI and that difference can be number of coats needed to achieve coverage, UV protection, and clarity. Sometimes the price is worth it sometimes its not.
