Finally Found: E-brake lever and Spring for rear disc setup

Ok, so I bought the rear disc brake setup from CaptainFab a while back and have been looking for the rear disc caliper setup for a 76-78 Eldorado because in TX we have to have an emergency brake to be legal. I havent been able to locate any in wrecking yards and finding the spring and lever assembly is almost impossible (at least for me it was). I got the calipers at the local parts store brand new (I dont like using used parts for the braking system).

Now after some research I found a place that makes/sells the lever and spring. The place is called BlackBird Custom Trucks and they are out of Spokane, WA.

I am in no way affiliated with these guys at all, but I figured if I was looking then someone else might also be looking and might need these as well.

Here is a link straight to their products page. They are a little higher than what I was expecting, but at least I will be legal and everything will work properly.

Hope this helps someone out!

Did you get these calipers set up with rear discs? If so how well do they work?
I've read a lot of bad reviews about the e-brake not working very well on them...

That should help a lot of guys who buy the calipers from the parts house but don't get the levers or springs.

Thanks for sharing.....I'm very interested in any pics you can show of these parts on the calipers. I'm in the same boat and this will really help. Thanks
