Info on 60-66 Medium duty fenders

I had posted this over on a FB site for 60-66 trucks and wanted to try my luck here too, if the part about finding a fender/set is more BST I'll remove that part from thread.

Might be odd question but does anyone have access to a set of the medium duty fenders that could measure them? Need over all length of opening and how far they extend out (I know there are narrow and wide styles I would like measurements on both if possible) and then measure each side of arch. Since no one makes flares for the standard trucks I have been thinking about trying to mold a set of the medium duty fenders and shrink them down a bit but don't know how big they are to start with.
Also if anyone in tri state (MD/PA/WV) area has a set or even just one in sub par shape they would let go of cheap that I could experiment with I would be interested.

I had someone ask if I could explain what I meant by each side of the arch so I made a horrible paint attempt.

Re: Info on 60-66 Medium duty fenders

Pretty good drawing in my opinion.

I'm well familiar with both of those fenders, but just wish I had a set here to measure for you.

To go into more detail though, some Mediums had the Wide Fenders and some Heavier trucks had the Narrow. Also I don't believe the Narrows were out till '63. You may want to ID them as Narrows and Wides instead of Mediums and Heavys and verify them with pictures, even though the measurements themselves will prove which is which.

Keep us posted on your project.

Re: Info on 60-66 Medium duty fenders

Thanks but I meant the red arrows section was horrible lol. Here is a set of line drawings I have been working on for my truck, I had played with idea of 1967+ style openings since they make flares for them but nixed the idea. I'm thinking if the medium duty idea doesn't pan out it will be time to start measuring jeeps and such in JY. For these trucks its something like 60-63 had wide flares and 64-66 had narrow right?

I also stretched the WB with the medium duty one because the donor truck has 7 inch longer WB but I'm thinking of leaving bed standard 8ft and just sliding fenders back and opening rear fenders up more towards back.

I have a set of those fenders down in the barn. I will see if I can get some measurements for you. If they would work for you I would sell them. I am passing through MD in a couple weeks heading to Ocean City.
