various sanding tools to make job easier???

Working on my wife's 67 C10 That has been blasted and primed. I have a 6 inch da and dura blocks and finding a few odd things to help with sanding but looking for ideas to make getting harder area done easier.

Like small area above windshield and tight areas similar. Any guy's want to share ideas?

Are you talking about just sanding primer for paint or are you talking about doing bondo work?

I've also got a pile of paint sticks cut into odd shapes...I like the 5gal sticks you get at lowes....the small 1gal ones are really flexible and work good to....

I use different sizes of PVC pipe to get into curves.
I attach the hook and loop material to it and it works great with my hook and loop sand paper.

Re: various sanding tools to make job easier???

I can do almost everthing I want with my hutchins straight line sander, a 6 inch, 3/32 offset DA, and some assorted durablocks and other custom made blocks. I really want to make some blocks out of acrylic because I've heard they do a really nice job. Just haven't gotten around to it.
