Turn signal lamp help

I am have trouble getting my turn signals to work as well as the marker lights on the driver sode of my truck. Truck is a 71 k10 suburban with ididit column and lmc headlight harness. I have all functioning lights on the passenger side (except turn signals), as well as brake lights. Headlight switch is only 2 years old as well as hi low switch. Headlight switch sends good power to the column harness so i know its not either of those. Both my flashers are good. I still have fully funtional hazard lights on all sides. When i use the turn signal lever I get a solid light on the fender marker and nothing on the bumper parklight. Bulbs are all good, fuses are all good. Just cleaned up the connectors at the firewall as well. All the wiring is original and in good shape and everything worked fine before I did the column swap. The truck sat for awhile as I was fixing and upgrading various suspension components. Please let me know if you have any ideas to wires or grounds I could check. To me it almost acts like the turn signal/parklight power is reversed but no wires have changed and everything checks out in the new column wiring harness
Thanks in advance

Re: Turn signal lamp help

I'm having a similar problem with my 72 C10. All the lights work fine. Flashers, turn signals, headlamps all work as required with one exception: When the headlights or parking lights are on, the turn signals don't blink--they just stay on. Already changed the headlight switch--no change. Any suggestions out there?

sounds like poor grounds on one or more of the turn signal sockets.

Re: Turn signal lamp help

Found my problem, some dirty grounds were interfering woth my markers. My signals didnt work because I didn't have the key turned on. So make sure you're key is on. Go figure
