K20 sway bar

Is it a bad idea to drive regularly with out a front sway bar on a K20?

Or does the solid axle kind of act like one enough for cruising around.

Re: K20 sway bar

4wd trucks didn't come with sway bars until 1973. So unless you're planning on exploring the limits of your truck's handling you should be fine.

Re: K20 sway bar

Not at all. I run my K25 without one all the time and actually don't like how it feels with it hooked up, despite the fact that I have ORD swaybar disconnects.

Re: K20 sway bar

I added one to my 72 K20. It did wonders for it on the street. The springs dont move all that well off road so I consider a good upgrade over all. Still no problems running around in the woods. Mine was a donated by a 80ish blazer.
