Thursday.

The guy told me the frost wall (short one) will only take about 1/2 an hour but the retaining wall (rebar pic) will be most of the day.

It's an 8ft wall with a small return into the house foundation, then at the driveway end it has a 45 degree turn that will taper down to 6ft.
It's going to allow me to level out the upper yard a lot.

It's a DIY cross member.

Got it because I'm going to run a 700r and wanted to be able to reposition things if needed.

Will this bolt on using existing holes in the frame, or will you have to drill new ones because you're running the 700r tranny.

Not 100% sure on the existing hole locations but what I am sure of is that it will give me more OPTIONS during the install to move whatever I might need to move.

DIY parts I received a couple weeks ago, 1st pic.

Almost ready to pour the walls, should happen today.

My home construction site - pic 4. (freakin mess)

Quick edit/addition:
Other parts that have arrived also are:
*700r tourque converter.
*TPI serp belt assembly.
*700r lock-up kit.

If I had any space left in my basement I could start on the motor, maybe I will when the valve covers get here...

These mornings lately are getting chilly..... you're going to be graduating from fresh-air kid, to warm-workshop man just in time!!

It will be great to make steady progress all winter long. There's nothing like walking out into your own manspace on a Saturday morning with a hot cup of coffee, and being able to get to business in a warm, organized and well-lit area.

Congrats on all the progress...

Kan't wait for mine to get here, Kurt said he was going to square it off more, on the crosstube, for oil pan clearance. Is that the shackle flip in the pic. as well

NO! I have the rare Corvette sand in my yard!

The guy had me dug in about an hour it was so easy.

J/K, some areas are pretty sandy but the norm is dark/boney soil for the most part with a lot of ledge.

Actually, the couple dollars in a coffee can fits better, with your acquistion of the manspace, the blazer build, your boat and the new diesel

Yes but facing towards the house.

This weekend is all about hydraulic cement and tar, then backfill and clean up the mess come the work week.
