3 Spd Overdrive Lockout Stopped Working
Was driving my 65 c10 this morning and was using overdrive, went to park and my lockout seemed jammed or something. Thought I got it working and when I went to drive again I pushed in my lockout knob in and it wont freewheel anymore.. Went under the truck and could see the lockout lever goes all the way back and cable wasnt jammed or anything. Any idea what it could be or how I can fix it? Hop I didnt bust up anything inside when I tried to un jam it.

I'm not familiar with the overdrive you are talking about but it may help get an answer to your question if you mentioned the type of transmission you have.

I Believe its a Borg Warner 1962. Solenoid is not the issue I dont think. When I push in lockout lever the transmission doesn't freewheel, so I dont even get the chance to turn on solenoid. The way I have it set up is a push lever to engage freewheeling, then a switch to activate solenoid and shift into overdrive.

Make sure the leaver is not loose (nut is tight) and slipping on the shaft.
