Question window fuzzies

Does it matter or is there a proper way for installing window fuzzies on 55-59 pickup doors? I did the one piece conversion and bought the fuzzy material and the more rubber looking stuff that looks kind of like a seal with a flexible edge that goes up against the glass. Does the fuzzy side go on the outside and the rubber scraper type material on the inside?

Re: window fuzzies

fuzzies go on the inside and outside, rubber seal( #5 lower window seal LMC )goes where the window sets :

lower seal actually curves away from the window, I bought 2 different brands both were made the same

I thought it was suppose to go up between the glass and fuzzy but couldn't get it to go just to tight to fit even tried to glue it to the glass

it ended up just curling out to the bottom of where the outer fuzzy attachés inside the door. don't know if that is right or not ? I remember asking I don't remember if it was on here or over on the hamb but got no help at the time, just left it that way, hadn't given it any thought till you brought up the ? So I'm still needing that info too.

Question Re: window fuzzies

Blackdiesel02 has a you tube 5 part video :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2_p9Ol9isE

Classic truck magazine had an article on it also:

http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/paint-b...ndows-install/

both did not use the lower rubber seal , don't know if it really does anything or not

I didn't do the one piece window just replaced all the regular window seals

Ive been following your build looks great so far
