Blazer in New Transformers 5 Movie

So Transformers 5 is filming right now and it looks like Mark Wahlberg's character has a Blazer! Don't know if it will be an actual Transformer character, but you never know.

Sorry if this is a repost or in the wrong area, but I wanted my fellow Blazer/Jimmy brothers to see it.

Very cool that the first gen k5 is getting the recognition. I really like the hood - the slits in the front are a cool idea. I hope they put a disclaimer at the end saying no Blazers were (permanently) harmed in this film.

When there are duplicate vehicles on set, that means that one or both get wrecked during filming ala the General Lee. RIP Blazer(s).

Re: Blazer in New Transformers 5 Movie

My son just called me so excited about seeing this 1st gen blazer in the Transformer movie. I had to google for pics and found this thread already started. I'm sure this will cause the Blazer craze to get even worse like it did with the Camaro.

Anyone able to find pics from the actual movie? Wondering if it's a "main character" that will have toys modeled after it.

Re: Blazer in New Transformers 5 Movie

Yeah.
Here it is. I shot these pix the day before I got my ''start-up paperwork'' w/W-2s, I-9s , Studio Protocols on Sexual Harrassment, Safety Regulations, Official Secrets Act, etc.
The side mounts are supposed to be rocket launchers, or something. I think they had two of these '69 or '70 K/5s. Don't know who made them, but the location was Desert Valley Auto Parts, north of PHX. There was a reality TV auto chop show at the same location, years earlier.
