Thank you very much for the link. That explains my problem exactly. I will take pics the right way from now on.

My question is I have 100 plus pictures of my build process in my phone that were taken the "wrong" way. Will that camera + app fix my existing pictures that I took the wrong way? Or is there a way to rotate the existing bad photos once I have downloaded them to my reply screen?

Thanks everyone.

Oh yeah one more photobucket complaint. I tried for an hour to download pictures from my account to my computer and photobucket kept giving me an error that "something occurred and download failed".

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I tried downloading today from PhotoBucket and got the same message.

For some reason I can still use the link for photo and I have the free account. I suspect PhotoBucket will soon find out about it and take it away.

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

Okay yes, holding your phone with the volume button down makes your photos correct, I take all pics that way now, just formed a habit. I use snapseed if I need to edit or post a pic I took the old way with phone upright. You do not even have to do an edit, just load it to snapseed and post it from there. Not sure if it is available on I-phone or not but I believe it is

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

Hey Mike, I don't know anything about the app mentioned on that page I linked too, I just use that link because it explains the source of the issue so well. I use my PC to correct the rotation issues so I can't tell you how to correct the problem without transferring the pics from your phone first (if that's where they currently are.) Do you use a PC and if so, what version of Windows do you use i.e. 7, 8, 10 etc.?

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

This seems to be a good solution if you have lots of pics to correct.

https://www.howtogeek.com/254830/why...ectly-rotated/

Direct link to the software: https://savolai.net/software/JPEG-EXIF_autorotate

The way I do it is basically one file at a time since I learned about holding the phone a certain way early on in my iPhone photo taking experience.
If I had a lot to do I would look into the software I listed above.

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

I pulled a vacuum on the cooling system tonight to check for leaks and there were none. I pulled 26hg and it didn't budge after 30 minutes. Hooked up my siphon and used the vacuum to pull the coolant in and give me an air bubble free cooling system.

The truck is 98% wired. The only things left are the rear tail lights, back up lights and license plate light. They will get wired when the bed sides go on. I finished calibrating the vintage air controls, calibrated the Dakota Digital gauges and topped off all the fluids. Tomorrow night I'm going over everything with a fine tooth comb and Saturday morning this turd is getting fired for the first time.

Thanks Jason. I'm confident it will. It seems like forever since I have been on here but I have been working. I have worked so hard to keep the wiring clean and hidden and it has taken me longer then it should have. I added so many systems that these old trucks never had and there isn't much room to begin with. I'm very happy with the end result.

I have been building engines for 30 years and I still get nervous for the first fire up and I don't know why I'm pretty stoked for Saturday. I'm coming up on a year since I started this build, it's time to get it on the road. Wish me luck fellas, I'll have my son take a video of the first light off

They turned out nice. I will try to post some pics. Sometimes they post sideways, I apologize in advance if they do.

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

When I open the hood I did not want to see any wiring. I ran all of the front light harness, fan wiring and the trinary switch on the outside of the core support. It disappears with the grill in place. I know it's there and it's still hard to see when everything is in place.

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

Things were a little busier in the back. Main power and grounds, American Autowire junctions for grounds, dual redundant relays for my fuel pump, fuel pump signal wires and fuel gauge wires. I also went a little overboard with chassis, body and engine grounds. (If there is such a thing) this all will disappear when the bed floor is installed.

And this is my view tonight as I do a front to back nut/bolt check and give everything a once over. Sorry for all of the pictures at once.

Looks great, I always like seeing detail pics of the wiring, wiring is something I have always enjoyed doing and making clean.

That pic on the hoist really looks good too.

I know what you mean about finding room for the wiring. I added cruise, ac, power windows, power locks , stereo system, and push button start with alarm system. So many extra wires under the dash to tuck up haha.
