Re: Introduction and 2wd Blazer in progress

What is the drop on this blazer. I'm about to convert my blazer to 2wd and I'm trying to decide how low to go. I want to run 22's

Re: Introduction and 2wd Blazer in progress

I started with 2.5" Western Chassis spindles and 2" lowered coils. After that, I cut an ever so slight amount from each until I dialed it in exactly how I wanted it (took me a few tries to get it right). The rear was just a remove the overload and take 3" out. Take the leaf packs to a spring shop and they can de-arch them for you. Converting from a 4wd, your specs will be different though. You just have to play with it and start somewhere and then adjust to your liking. Time and patience...

Re: Introduction and 2wd Blazer in progress

From all of the research I've done once I put the 2 wheel drive suspension under it it should be stock 2 wheel drive height. The more research I do the more I come to the conclusion that the frames are identical outside of the front not having the holes for the 2 wheel drive crossmember

Re: Introduction and 2wd Blazer in progress

Great build...it looks amazing!

I see you went with a 17/18 combo, are those 18x8's in the rear? What size tires in the rear? Thanks
