2wd Blazer on CL

Hey Gang - Found this Blazer on CL...funny thing is the guy lives only about a mile away from me. Anyway, I went to look at it...454 runs great, shifts good, lowering job is cut coils, paint has a few flaws and some rust issues in the top of the a-pillars. Rocker boxes are perfect. Interior is decent.

Thoughts on price? I feel like $9500 is probably a couple of grand high...but it is a solid 2wd Blazer. I was also thinking of a trade on my '50 Chevy Styleline Deluxe, but would really like your input first. Thanks!

Well, like everyone says, you couldn't build it for that. I know what you mean though. It appears to be finished out well except for that steering wheel. The tar is off the firewall, all the accessories appear factory, looks like the AC is hooked up. The big block swap is clean. I like it.

This was listed for a month and a half or so in the Sterling Heights area.(Detroit Metro list) I watched it for a while with interest, price was listed at $7,500 obo and went down to $6,500 obo before it finally disappeared. It looks like a nice one if you can get the price down.

That's great info. I knew that he traded a '75 Corvette for it and received cash.
