I thought the floor bolts were tacked. The rear bed bolts had a washer that contoured the bed shape.

Only the front-most two hex head (non-carriage) bolts in the cab are tack welded. IIRC only the bolts at the rear xmember have the washers depicted.

Mine were tacked in the rear as well as front.Did not look to be tacked at a later time than factory to me.Only front and rear two.

I redid a set recently on my 72 Blazer and only the fronts were tacked but maybe there are variations. For those getting ready to redo I'd suggest grinding and/drilling out the carriage bolt heads at the floor pan then pounding the threaded shafts out from above.

I am not sure witch ones tack welded and witch ones did not. All the Blazers I have replaced the body mounts on all body and bed bolts were tack welded. It would be a simple thing to do when installing the new ones too. I can see your point Pete. However unless I can find a wholesale supplier for the offset washers would raise the price of the kit $15.00 or $20.00 WES

LMC's kit only has 4 offset washers in it. Maybe I should offer that as a $10.00 option... Then if you don't want them you don't have to buy them. WES

Kind of looks like we will getting enough parts to make 200 kits right now. Looking like price will be around $240.00 or $250.00. I couldn't get to LMCs price of $200.00. I just can't purchase in the quantities that is needed to get there. Hardware companies were talking in the 100,000 pieces to get a brake large enough to do so. There just isn't any way I can afford to do that. We will look into it again once we sell most of the inventory we will have. I think the 40 or so bucks is well worth it when you consider the cushions will not go bad in our kits. I am hoping to have enough stuff here to be able to ship before Christmas, but I must say that may be a little optimistic because some parts are having to be made custom for my kit. If you would like to pre-order I am excepting orders now. We do not charge credit cards before the kit will ship. It is just a way that you can be among the first to get one. So there you have it. I did what I could for now and we will have 200 excellent quality kits anyway. Contact me either by email or phone call if you would like to pre-order a kit. WES

Parts are rolling in. Packaging material is rolling in and I am setting up to start building kits. I have enough stuff to build a couple kits and should have lots more coming in this and next week. Will be shipping in order that the pre-orders came in. WES

This is how the body mounts will be packaged. I am including a body mount position diagram to make it easy to locate where each individual kit mounts. Kind of rudimentary but should work. Thoughts anyone? WES

I do not want to sound like I am pushing sales, but I do want to remind people that we have enough to do 200 kits and they will be gone. I haven't even gotten an estimate on the cost for new tooling yet. No timeline or anything. The sale of these kits will help decide once the estimates come in. There is a strong possibility that it may be a cost that I can not afford. Anyway just a thought for you guys. WES
