250 power steering bracket

I have an 84 c10 with a 70’s head in it. It’s not the integrated head. I’m putting power steering in it and I’m having a hard time finding the brackets I need. The picture I have attached is the one I believe I need for my setup. But if I use this set up will have to replace the balancer and pullies? Thanks for your help.

I know that you will at least have to have a 2 groove pulley on the balancer and probably the water pump as well. I thing the water pump pulley may be the same as for a small block? If you are having a difficult time finding the factory PS pump brackets, check out Davis Racing on ebay. They make some very nice brackets for the GM I6 engines.

There are 3 basic set ups - early, late, and integral head. Difference early to late is belt spacing on the balancer. AIR or AC drives the extra bolt on crank pully. Generally the PS has its own belt, unless there is AIR involved.

Thanks. I believe I have and early model head. No ac and smog pump was removed. I found many different factory styles. I found a couple junk yards near by that I need to check out. But no luck on junkyards yet.

I had a hard time finding p.s. brackets and pulleys for my 68 with 250. Tried the mix and match without success and finally bought an old 250 with all parts I needed.

What I recommend to anyone trying to convert these 250's to p.s. is to find a vehicle that uses the same engine with power steering. They were used in a lot of different vehicles. This can be a car or truck, maybe even a van that hasn't been scavenged and remove everything in front of the engine (IIRC the integrated head p.s. mounting brackets are different than the non integrated head ones).

-Harmonic balancer pulleys (maybe even the balancer if different)
-Water pump pulleys
-Power steering pump and pulley and all mounting brackets. Even if you
have them they may be slightly different. Also these parts are hard to find.
-Belts if they are still there (even if not good, they can be measured for
replacements)
-I would also take the fan.

I have finally pieced together that exact power steering bracket and will probably be selling it. While waiting for the pieces I found a used aftermarket bracket that a seller on ebay makes. I finally have p/s running with the ebay bracket and doubt I will use the original bracket.

Do you have a picture of the brackets? Also how much are you asking?

I pulled all the PS from a integral head engine to use on mine. I would add to everyone's good advice here is that I found the flange on the water pump to be in a different location than my Non PS water pump. Seems like 1/8" - 3/16" or so. I went back & got the pump & installed it on my engine & ever thing lined right up.
