Are you looking for inexpensive OEM sensors
E-Herko is on Ebay and they are awesome.
I ordered the wrong set of O2s (My year has 2 different (front)sets based on the tranny option) Any way, they sent a call tag so I did not have to pay freight back to them and shipped the correct ones before they got the other ones back. Their house brand of O2s seen here Front O2s Are $16 and work great. I was never able to use anything other than Standard brand before. They all threw a code. But these worked great. Can't beat the price either. |

Re: Are you looking for inexpensive OEM sensors
Thought I would update this post. One of the 2 I got crapped out yesterday. So these may not be the best buy after all. The symptoms in this case was that it would idle crappy out of the blue and then go away. Did that 2 days on second day finally threw a code. When it set the code it went into open loop and ran smooth as silk. New it wasn't a fuel issue with that code and smooth operation in open loop.
I ordered Standard Motor Products http://www.summitracing.com/parts/smp-sg454 The GM/AC Delco's are all made by them.(had a class given by them and they told us that). I know they'll last. Well it never fails when it comes to electrical items. Cheap is cheap. Anyway I thought I would update y'all since we can't delete posts. Funny how it's been exactly one year. |

Re: Are you looking for inexpensive OEM sensors
I have had great luck with denso oxygen sensors. I have had several ac delco sensors fail soon after replacement.

Oooops spoke to soon
Turns out the O2 sensor was not to blame. I developed a huge oil leak (crap plastic timing cover).
The sensor was coated in oil. For those that don't know, this generation O2 sensor uses the openings for the wires to get air. So still a good buy and works well where as I could never use Bosch. Just FYI. But let's update the website. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HERKO-OX...item54072424eb |
