Need a pic

Need a picture of the original spark plug wire and holding mounting brackets on a 65 283. My wires are in but I think I may have a bracket or two wrong, thx.

sorry bout the poor shot, the black tube is the crankcase down tube that has the holder for the loom it attaches to the bellhousing, i snag'd it off a 283 yrs ago

the top holder is a repop, but i only got it cuz i seen plenty oem's on 283 and i already bought before i met the forum and got uber NOS and oem anal so its correct but still a repop. ps my truck is 65

heres the clamp, had it for yrs and just know figured how it attached, its just below the downtube painted black

do you have the packard 1Q65 wires? i found a set of 3Q65 wires for $60. wrong quarter oops, but they have 65 on it and work great with my points!!! my block is a 66 shhh...

Digging up an old topic here....

Speaking of plug wire routing, does anyone know if the factory routed some of the passenger side plug wires THROUGH the passenger side motor mount (on a 327 truck)? I've heard of this on Corvettes but did trucks do the same?

My 65 C20 original dated wires are run through the mounts for #1&3 and #2&4

I agree with Kenny here and his pictures are spot on of that image of my original 66 C30 327 with original Packard wires looked like. Then the long front wires after the lower spark plug holder on bellhousing then tucked behind the starter solenoid and through the motor mount on RH side for front plugs #2 and #4.

Would anyone happen to have a factory diagram/photo of how the plug wires were routed? I've found a pic online of Corvette 327 wire routing but nothing for a 327 truck.
