Brake/Clutch Pedals-All The Same?

I was recently asked by another member if a brake assembly from a '70 will fit in a '68. While I can not say for certain, it is my understanding that the brake and clutch assemblies are all interchangeable for the 67-72 bodied trucks within the same series frames. Can anyone chime in with that thought being correct for interchange? I know that the 67-68 park/emergency brakes differ from the 69-72 with the hand applied / foot applied difference. Tried doing a search but did not find proof of interchange fit being true. May not have used correct terms in the search box but had no luck.
