Question about RPO Code

Hey Guys,
I just bought a 1983 C20 for parts , and was wondering on the RPO list what GQ1 Rear Axle-Standard means as far as gear ratio. What is the Standard ratio?
Truck has a knocking 5.7 , 4 speed , Camper Special Z81 , 8600 GVWR , 8 lug.

After a closer inspection , I might not part it out , but fix it and drive it.

Any help appreciated..

Re: Question about RPO Code

I looked on an RPO list and it says the same thing that you've already got. You might have to count the drive shaft revolutions vs. axle revolution.
