She may not be the prettiest but it is a starting point. For the 80's it was probably sweet with a mullet lol.

Thank you. It is in much better shape than I would have expected with it being in Oklahoma and Arkansas for parts of its life.

A work in progress, but nearing completion! Just painted in cement gray, an unconventional color but it looks good!

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

I'll try and roll it outside for a few more pics with better lighting. Still have to get the hood and cowl installed. Yes, the color is Toyota cement grey, paint code 1H5. Coated the outer top with Raptor Liner pretinted black, and the inner floor and inside of top with Raptor Liner tinted with cement gray.
The wheels are Method Roost, I saw them mounted on a Ford Raptor with BF Goodrich KO2 tires and fell in love

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.

Not sure where I'd post this, I don't see an H3/Colorado/Canyon section, even though the H3 was GM at the end, but since this pic has my 71 in it, I hope it's ok to post it here, especially since I don't think I've posted pics of the 71 on this thread since I got it, I think the only pics I've posted are in the 4x4 action shots thread.

Just picked up this '72. Incredibly clean, and found all documentation (Protecto-plate, original bill of sale, owners manual, sale brochure, etc.), in the console.

What's your plan for it, keeping or selling?

I've been looking for a long time. As you guy's know, finding a good one isn't easy! Unless you have money trees on your lawn. LOL!

My plan so far, is to rebuild the original drivetrain, restore the interior, and attempt to resurrect the paint. I would really like to keep the original paint, and I think it would clean up pretty well.

I have a set of 15" x 8" Rally Wheels, and I want to put some 33's on them.

Hopefully it won't take much more than that.

Thanks again for the positive comments!

Pat

Great looking rig! Mine came from Montana as well (Seeley Lake); where are you in Montana?
