50th Woodstock anniversary

Well they announced that the 50th anniversary will be held in Watkins Glenn. Really ?!!. I live about 35 miles from the original Bethal Woods location . So on the 50th I'll be there not friggin Watkins Glenn .. even if nothing's going on .

I wa at the 25th in Saugerties . They tried to get it close to Woodstock. Was helping a friend with a food truck. Ran out of food and water in 12 hours.

knew something was up..

stopped by the pub after work tuesday and friends all chatting about and playing woodstock performers in the jukebox..

buddy of mine played all 15 minutes of alice's restaurant, one of my favorites and true story btw

This is just my 0.02 cents worth.... i believe ...no one could ever duplicate the original. most of the original bands are gone or too old to perform like they did!. and the majority of the people that would attend are in a different mind set! i was 13 in 1969. i remember "peace" , "love" , "Grooving to the music" the last 2 anniversary woodstocks turned violent. fights/fires/ ect!

Pam may have been at Woodstock too, I don't know, but those pics are at the drag strips. My my. She did put on a show.
