2011 silverado issues 6.0 LS

I bought this struck from an auction and other than this one issue It runs and drives like new ... It sets a code saying the engine is lean ..I have had the shop next to mine (I have a machine shop , he is a repair shop ) look at it a few times and it still sets the code ... I can feel a miss or hitch in the engine as I roll into the throttle to increase speed .. It runs fine cruising and if I am hard on the gas .. Anyone had this issue , or have experience with this problem?
Thanks in advance .....

Re: 2011 silverado issues 6.0 LS

I have a 2006 K2500 with a 6.0L and it started to act up like that recently but it set no code. Then one day shortly after on the highway it lost power and was running rough as all get out. I moved over to the shoulder and it died before i rolled to a stop. I sat there for about 15 minutes trying to figure out what just happened. Then tried to start it and it fired right up, but with a check engine light on. I limped it to an Autozone (would run for a bit, then run rough and die), where they put a scan-tool on it. P0336 Crank Position Sensor.

Replaced it with a new one the next day and runs like a top again.

Re: 2011 Silverado 2500hd setting lean code

What is the code? Sounds like it might be one of the O2 sensors. If you haven't you can try cleaning out the MAF and check for a vacumn leak. That is all that pops into my head right now.
