I need a hitch for my Blazer to haul my boat with and I read a thread about Early Classic's hidden hitch. Does anyone have input or pictures regarding hidden hitchs?

What kind of boat do you have? I'd love to haul my boat with my blazer once it's 2wd, but I don't think it would do too well on the ramps around here, especially with a 29 footer.

I've got a Moomba Mobius. It's 21.5 feet long. I think (really hope) it depends on the ramp. The Tahoe pulls it out in 2WD fine but it does have all-terrain tires on it.
Luckily I don't have to pull it out but once or twice a year. It stays at the lake house throughout the summer.

I wouldn't have any concerns about the hitch in that situation. If the truck can handle it, the hitch can.

Very happy with the hitch. When it used to be my mom's truck we would constantly take it on about 220 mi. drives with a 20' flatbed trailer with a quad and sand rail on it and we've never had any problems with it

As for where I got it, my dad says he picked it up in some catalog, but he doesn't remember which.

I emailed hidden hitch and they replied that they don't make a hitch for blazers older than 1973?

Any part numbers on your hitch?

I bought an Early Classic Hitch back in 2006 or so and installed it on my '69. Never have towed with it. They still sell it, currently for $239.00
