Can I use a block Mount Mini starter to replace my Belhousing mount starter ?

I've searched the forums a bit but didn't come up with an answer . I have a 72 Blazer 350 4x4 with 4speed and was wanting to upgrade my stock Starter to a high torque Mini Starter . Wasn't sure if I could do this with having a bell housing mounted factory starter. Has anyone tried? Block has the mounting holes I'm just not sure if there is any issues with clearance on the bell housing .... Any Help would be appreciated . Thanks

I found my answer after searching more . Looks like I can use the block mounting holes without interference from the Bell housing .

Yes as you've seen. I have one on my Jimmy. I went with the style that did not support the bendix on both ends as that meant there was nothing that had to go into the bellhousing that might interfere. But I would think either would work.
