Re: Body roll?

I don't think this is your problem, but just thought I would throw it out there for reference for those who may visit this thread looking for handling issues.

When I first purchased my Blazer years ago, I was having handling problems as in having it wandering all over the road, I replaced tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, steering box(used), and nothing made a difference. So I finally broke down and took it to a front end specialist who after putting on the rack for inspection found that one of the leaf spring centering bolts was sheered off causing the front axle to shift back and forth while it was going down the road.
The guy that owned the shop told me "I can replace it for you or you can go to the local spring shop and buy one for a $1.75..............that was the best $1.75 I've ever spent

20 + years later that shop is still in business and owned by the same guy..................guess where I go for my alignments and any front end work that I don't want to do.

Re: Body roll?

Alright....I bypassed the factory torque specs and torqued to feel. My knuckles turn very freely now. I put everything back together and she is a different truck! Also took out all the shims. She is back to factory setting now. Thanks for all the help to track down this monster.
