the eng ground is bad how i know is it will not start tell u put a wire from the bat to the eng just to get me home i ran i wire to it strait off the frame is that k to leave it that way or should chase the wire down and fix it right

The ground should go from the engine to the frame. The negative side of the battery should be going to the frame also.
