1966 was the first year for the 250 in the C10 pickups. It was a bluish green. After that it was orange.

The intake manifold got cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint....

.... Use a 194 cyl head to up the compression, 307 chevy forged pistons work well- clifford intake for high RPM, offenhauser intake for torque, around a 390 cfm 4 bbl will work good. split headers w/smaller pipes for performance.
