Ya, coming soon. I have been waiting on some engine and trans parts. Not to mention finding out the hard way that none of the after market steel fits for ****!

I'm curious how these fit with the fesler lenses. I've heard they won't work with LED's but no explanation as to why. Any chance you can mock one up in a taillight housing and see how it fits? I have the fesler lenses and really want the digitails too.

Re: My 67 SWB BoostedC10 (LQ4 S475)

Ok so i just grabbed the Fesler tail light bezel and the digitail board. The only issue is I cannot find the light bucket for my tail light. Based on what I can tell though I dont see any reason they wont fit. I will dig around for my buckets and take some more pictures, but here are some for now.

Here is a bigger picture so you can see the board behind the bezel.

I'm thinking the lens might actually be too close to the bucket for the LED board to fit. Isn't there some sort of spacer that holds the board off of the metal bucket? If that's not the problem, then I really have no idea why "they" say LED's wont work... Thanks for the pics. It looks like they fit nicely inside the billet.

Knomadd,
There is a small rubber stand off on the back of the board but from what I can tell it should still be recessed enough to clear the lense. If you arent in a huge rush to order them I should have my new buckets in a couple days. Once I get them I will mock them up in my beside.

Even if there is a slight interference I am sure i can set the stock light bucket back in the body enough to get them to fit.

I will do this as soon as I have the new buckets and let you know either here or by pm, if I have to modify anything I will let you know.

In your rendering it shows a big back window. Are you going to keep it the small back window?

Ya it will stay a small window cab. I dont think that digital photobooth has a small window option when you do a rendering.

Here they are installed in the buckets in the body. It is a little tight and you will have to use flat screws for the board but I dont see any issue with them at all.

Re: My 67 SWB BoostedC10 (LQ4 S475)

Slowly but surely knocking things off my to-do list. Got the block primed with epoxy and painted in single stage urethane. The color is an exact match to some of my chassis parts. I am working on getting the Holley manifold, pan, water-pump and 67 valve covers ready for the same color. I will break up the grey with black Chevy script on the valve covers, black Holley fuel rails and black accessory drive from Drive Junky!

Here is the motor after clean up

2K sprayed. Covered awesome and the adhesion works perfect with all the different metal types on the LS.

Then it was time for some color

Test fit before the rest of the parts are painted!

And last but not least, my little guy who I think wants to be a welder!
