4l60e trans adapter to a np 205 transfer case

what adapter did you use for this application?

If you can handle a little machining, many people have installed a VSS on the back of the np205 and just used the AA shorter output shaft meant for the TH700-NP205 combination.

True, the output shaft will work, but he will still need to adapt the 4L60E case to the NP205. Not sure where you would install the the 40 tooth VSS gear on the outside of the case. The best and easiest way is to use the AA adapter.
