48 on an S10 frame E-brake??

I got the 96 ZR2 rear axle with the drum brakes for the 48. The E-brake cables were cut. I an find the drivers side, but the riders side seems to be made of unobtanium! I've tried NAPA, Rock Auto and just plain on line to no avail. I even sent a request over the Car-Part network looking for second hand.

Is there any other source that I have not thought of? Is there another way to do E-brakes with out the cable?

Thanks.

Re: 48 on an S10 frame E-brake??

Rock Auto gives a Raybestos number for one for a 94 S-10 ZR2 with high rider package. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ake+cable,1696

You have to scroll way down the page BC94714

On here, that translates to several numbers https://www.yoyopart.com/oem/11988418/gm-15672904.html

I'd still check by exact application.

Re: 48 on an S10 frame E-brake??

Thanks Mr. 48.

I just got the paperwork on the axle out and it's 96, G80, 8.5". I looked at Rock Auto and got one that they show as fitting and the shorter one, but they neither one fit. I went to NAPA today and they don't show a cable except the short one I already have.
