Headers & Seats for my 58??

I have a 58 Chevy Apache 3/4 ton with a SBC 350, 4 speed. I want to get a set of headers for it but I looked up some Hookers and they want almost $550 can I fit a less expensive set in there or is this all thats gonna fit? I also want to replace the bench seat for some buckets has anyone done this? What should I look for?
Thanks for the help!

Re: Headers & Seats for my 58??

Mine worked with a set of s-10 V8 conversion headers. They are more of a 3/4 length which is good for clearance.

Re: Headers & Seats for my 58??

Welcome. Seat issue has been talked about alot here. A search will turn up a number of threads. I used 07 Yukon third row seats to get the low head rests and built in three point belts. I built a frame so they can be tilted and removed just like the Yukon. Details are in my build thread, like below.

Keep a regular eye out on this Holley scratch and dent site and you can land yourself one hell of a deal. I got a set of ceramic coated hooker super comps for my 59 Apache at 80% off retail. They came with all the accessories (gaskets, bolts, brackets, etc) and the only issue was some minor cosmetic scratches/scuff marks.
