Re: "Please Update Your Account..

Many thread pictures were originally posted using photobucket when it was free , It is no longer free and all those pictures over many years are lost unless the original poster wants to pay a monthly fee to unlock them .

Re: "Please Update Your Account..

Somebody had posted some kind of workaround that let you see them I thought. I didn't try it, whatever it was.

Re: "Please Update Your Account..

I now upload pictures through the site's "Go Advanced" then the attach files icon. As long as this site type can handle the data, and I assume it can, doesn't seem likely we'd lose them.

Just Google Photobucket fix. You can download an app and it fixes the issue.

Re: "Please Update Your Account..

Do that Photobucket fix and you will see the pictures.

I doesn't matter all the better ways people are now posting pictures. The issue here is all the pictures posted in the past use Photobucket. Can't change that

Re: "Please Update Your Account..

I've always downloaded pics to my computer and uploaded them to the site or whereever I wanted to attach them too. Why did or do people use Hosting Sites don't you like to be in control of your own pics? If your thinking your computer may crash and you'd lose your pics get an external harddrive backup and every week or so back up everything to the external hard drive. I'm no computer guru but like to be in charge of my computer and thatbis why I don't use ICloud on my IPhone or IMac.

Re: "Please Update Your Account..

I added the add-on to firefox and now the images are working again.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...t-fix/?src=api

there should be similar add-ons for chrome and possibly others.
