How Important is a C notch?

I would like to know how important a c-Notch is when air bag systems are installed. I am at a point where the frame is at this point of c-notching and just want to know if there are any pointers.

How low you wanna go..

it depends on how low u wana go......if its a 73-87 c10 u can run a belltech bolt in style notch if u wana lay out gonna need a 10" deep notch
