Cool Old Camping Rigg

This cool old 68 van popped up on my Facebook Marketplace today. Only 10 miles from me. It looks like they did a pretty good job on the 4x4 conversion. Throw some Jackman's & Desert Dogs on it and it would look like something you might see at Baja in the 70s.

Re: Cool Old Camping Rigg

I have the earlier generation of that van, and people have said I should of done that to it.

It looks like the longer version so it won't be bad. The shorter one like I have would be a tip over hazard.

If you get it. You may want to fab up a drag link for the steering. My dad and his friends are into Model A's. So when I lowered mine. I found out it was to long. You may find yours to short possibly. Depending on who did the lift, and what he knew.

A couple of hiem joints, and some dom. You can fix it in a hour.
