292 head id

I just purchased a 292 head that was made in Mexico but it appears different than othe heads I have had. It has bolts going into the head diagonally from the top on the intake side. Anyone have an idea as to why they are there or if this a correct head? It's the orange painted head by the way.

Thanks in advance!

Re: 292 head id

This......plugs to block off the AIR injection ports. The casting date will tell you what year the head is.
