im needing to replace a complete frontal floor area in one of my 69 jimmy's and would like to run a bench seat in it.with this said will a 67-72 repop TRUCK floor fit in the jimmy? as to retain the truck bench seat track bolt holes

I bought the floor pan and installed it, I used the body mount holes to help the line up and determine where to cut and and fold up to the knee wall. Where the gas tank would sit is what gets cut off. I don't see why a bench can't be installed unless the floor shifter be a problem.

What we wanted to hear

any recommandations on pan? Also gonna be replacing rear floor,would it be wiser to remove both quarters first? Also I'm looking to swap my drivetrain out of my 92 4x Yukon.

I made up a jig that was corresponding to the body and back bed mounts from the frame. when I reassembled and transferred over to the 72 Jimmy frame it fit like a glove.

The floors are the same as a truck. I cut the roof off of a pickup cab and made a body for my jimmy from it. I'm not positive but I would doubt the repro floor would have the attachment points for either a bench or buckets already drilled and installed so you would need to do that stuff anyways. Another consideration is the trans hump cover if it's a 4x4.

The repro floor pan that I got from Car and Truck Shop in Orange, CA had a low rise hump. They said most repro's come in the low hump and it's another mod to make on the floor if you have a 4x4.

not following on the trans hump cover? my jimmy is 4wd and i have the bolt in cover? would this interfere with the bench? or?

You'd probably have to cut out a hole in the new pan and then fit your old trans cover to it. And I don't think it would interfere with the bench. I've seen a few 4x4s with bench seats and the clearance looks just fine. Might be a different story if you're running a manual transmission.
