I thing the plugs that are in there now are gapped at .040

Lmao off yea she was humming but I turned it down to a little under 1500 before it started wanting to die. I still don't thing the timing is accurate because of that leak between the carb and the spacer.

Best way to fix that leak is with a heat plate.
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...s/parts/108-70 So at 1500 you were well into the mechanical timing so your 14 initial is likely bogus. You need to get down to 750 to set your timing. And with your combo 14 isn't enough. Likely need up near 20 initial. |

Open it up to .045. It does make a difference.

Tomorrow I will gap a new set of plugs and look at fixing that leak then try getting it timed. I want to thank everyone for their help! I feel like I've made some progress!
