Re: Air Sleeve bags

I am running Firestone tapered sleeve #9000. Also have them on my 66 malibu wagon ( #9001). I think they provide the better ride than double convoluted bags

Re: Air Sleeve bags

I've got the Firestone 9000 bags too,and as Kid and entourageguy say they're supposed to ride better.
Not had a chance to find out yet though......

Mine won't be a heavy load lugger,so they should be up to the job just fine.

Re: Air Sleeve bags

I have them on the rear of my '50 with trailing arms. One big advantage was the smaller circumference, allowing me to mount them closer to the frame. Another is the single mounting bolt on the bottom, fit nice on the trailing arm stock spring location. Not sure about the ride yet.

I also have the same bags as helpers on my '08 DD and they have handled a fair amount of weather, abuse, etc.
