How Low... Bags in factory spring location

Hello I am looking for pictures / information on trucks with a notch bigger the standard under bed units using bags in the factory location (and actually using the notch). I am not concerned about laying the frame in the rear and I want to leave as much bed room as possible.

The Porterbuilt mild kit is pretty much exactly what I am looking for... I am just looking for different ways its been done.

Here is my amateurish hack at it... This is using some of Nate's components and a c-notch. It's pretty low with the bags empty.

Roadrat, your step notch seems to have you pretty low & tucked. When I installed my step notch I had a lot of space between the rear axle and the frame notch. From the looks of it, you modified the trailing arms, rite? I would like to see your rear wheel well with ur bed installed. I'll post some pics of my set up later. Or you can visit my thread to get an idea of my set up. I am interested in your trailing arms. I'll be watching this thread as u post. Also, what are us gonna do about rear shocks. I might steal that idea if it's a good one.

DEC010974 - Just to be clear the picture I posted isn't my setup but one I ran across on the internet that looked interesting.

I am not looking to lay frame on my truck but have a very low rake.

The picture you originally posted is of my old 72 blazer frame. That's an 8"notch with custom made trailing arms to be able to use all of the notch n

Bagged74- Awesome, I am glad you seen this. I could not remember where I had saved that picture from.

Your stance on that blazer is exactly what I am going for ... I love it. So it looks like the rear set up would be hard to duplicate without custom trailing arms.

You could possibly get close to the same effect with a stock arm and a lowering block

bagged74, would this get me in your neighborhood? my front drop spindles, shocks, and shock relocators are on back order. im also thinking about modifying the stock lower control arms. i love the look of your avatar. if i can get that stance, these issues will be al worth it.
